Review: Good product. Plug it in and the smoke and steam are sucked away.

Review: Works well in small areas. We don’t have a hood in our kitchen so wanted to try this portable unit. It works great!
Brooke A. Schriedel Rating: 4.0 out of 5 stars
Review: Works 90% of the time, except for frying chicken in a saffron sauce.

Review: Works as expected. It’s a small, slightly noisy unit, but it actually seems to work as well or even better than the downdraft exhaust on my range. It did not appear to ‘catch’ any oil in the catch container, but it certainly sucked the steam/etc from frying into the unit, and was easy to take the filters out and clean after.

Review: Eh. It does work to some extent, but not much at all. My main concern was how well it could filter smell, and it didn’t do a very good job. It mitigates some of the smell but not all. Also, it doesn’t filter out oil, so when the air blows out on the other side, the food smell isn’t as strong, but the air fully smells like cooking oil and my whole room smells like cooking oil.

Review: Hood actually works. I love everything about this product. I was skeptical at first but said what the heck, I’m desperate, and I’m so glad the purchased item did not disappoint. It did live up to its promises online.

Review: Pretty powerful. Haven’t had this fan very long, but it seems like a great solution for an induction cooktop without a built-in exhaust. It’s bigger than it looks in the pictures, which is a good thing! I feel that this powerful little fan will suck up any cooking smoke or oil splatters.

Review: Works but… Arrived promptly, easy to use and remove the filters after use to wash- but the smell of cooking is not completely removed- will continue to use and see how it does work. Might still return it. For the price, I hoped it would do better. Purposely fried fish as soon as it came. Maybe fish fry is too strong????

Review: Absorbs smelly smoke but pushes out less smelly smoke. Bought this for hot pot and Korean bbq cooking in my apartment hoping it could absorb the smells and smoke and not stink up my place. While it does absorb the smoke, it pushes the smoke back out the other end albeit the smoke was less smelly. So not sure what is the purpose of this expensive portable hood range. Didn’t absorb the oil from the food either. In conclusion, it doesn’t work for hot pot and Korean bbq. My place was still smelly for days after using this product on full blast. It’s also bigger than what it looks like in the photos.

Review: Great one. It solved my problem immediately.

Review: Not strong enough to move the smoke. We have an outdoor grill in an enclosed terrace, now with sliding glass doors and AC in the space. The unit was not able to capture a large portion of the fumes, making the living space smoky and smelly. I returned the device as it did not work in my application. Perhaps for a smaller grill size, it will work.

Review: Works just okay. Nothing great about it. Returning.

Review: Amazing product! I lived in a studio which helped tremendously to eliminate smoke and odors in the apt. I wish I had purchased it sooner.

Review: Effective in removing smoke and cooking smells when frying. I like the fact it works!

Review: Looks cool but doesn’t work well. It looks really cool, but all it does is suck and blow air. Not as powerful as I thought. It’s somewhat helpful if you cook with a lot of frying but still not as good as a real range hood.

Review: Doesn’t work. Thought this was a great idea so I could cook a couple steaks on a cast iron griddle on my range. Nope! House filled with smoke, and when I went to clean the unit almost no grease in the filters and nothing in the grease catch cup. FYI I contacted the company to ask how to order replacement charcoal filter (before my disappointing cooking episode) and they auto responded they would get back to me in a couple of days. Still waiting. Don’t buy it, waste of money.

Review: Absolutely love it! Great exhaust fan, use it daily. Easy to use, easy to clean. Comes with an extra filter.

Review: Not working so well. First of all, it is hard to turn off the machine. Secondly, the design of the machine makes it hard to remove smoke efficiently.

Review: GARBAGE!! ALL THIS DOES IS TAKE THE SMOKE AND GREASE AND BLOW IT OUT THE BACK. DOESN’T FIX OR HELP ANY TYPE OF EXHAUST ISSUES YOU MAY HAVE. WORSE PIECE OF GARBAGE THEY COULD EVER SELL. MADE OF PLASTIC BUT THEY WANT YOU TO HAVE THIS UNIT 4 TO 6 INCHES FROM HEAT SOURCE…

Review: It just does not work. So disappointed: one small (3oz) filet mignon on a flat cast iron grill on an induction cooktop: placed the hood the requisite 4″ (10cm) away, turned it on to the high setting and watched more smoke going around the hood than through it. I’m returning it tomorrow.
